Instructional programs at the Medicus Golf Learning Center at Jones Creek Golf Club were designed by Chuck Evans, executive director of the Medicus Golf Institute and a Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher. Chuck Evans
Chuck Evans is one of 31 teachers worldwide designated to hold a "Doctorate in Golf Stroke Engineering", he is Executive Director of Instruction for Medicus Golf and has served as Director of Schools for the PGA Tour Academy, The Director of Instruction for United States Golf Institute and The Golfing Machine.

In addition, Chuck has been teaching since 1970 and has also been the featured speaker at various PGA Sections, LPGA teaching workshops and European Teaching workshops. Known as a “Teachers Teacher”, many of Golf’s TOP Teachers have attended his workshops on the science of the golf stroke (Over 30% of Golf’s Top 100 and Top 50 Teachers since 1997).

During this time Chuck has taught in excess of 200,000 players through private lessons, golf schools, workshops and seminars.

Chuck has also been recognized by his peers and Golf Magazine as one of Americas Top Teachers and has published numerous instructional articles both in national and local golf publications.

The overall game changing experienced is enhanced by the two indoor hitting bays at the Medicus Golf Learning Center. With the learning center having two indoor hitting bays, students will be able to take advantage of the V1 Digital Coaching System due to one of the bays providing a 4 camera visual learning experience. Medicus Golf has also worked with V1 to provide a branded online academy so that student and instructor can easily exchange video lessons to assure continual improvement.

The second hitting bay is used for club fitting and lessons with the use of FlightScope. FlightScope’s 3D Doppler Tracking Radar tracking device can measure a number of variables related to golf balls. These include real time tracking, ball speed, both vertical and horizontal launch angles, sidespin and backspin. Flightscope’s 3D motion tracking devices are not just about ball measurement; they can also help with your golf swing analysis by measuring variables related to your golf club, such as club head speed, club vertical attack angle, club horizontal attack angle and club face angle. The ball’s trajectory after it has been launched is also measured, which means you have exceptionally comprehensive ball measurement information instantly available, aiding you in your ongoing quest to improve your golf swing.
