Emerald Coast Junior Golf Tour saw a beautifully prepared golf course and ideal summer weather, allowing for good scoring conditions at the Weatherall Fine Art Junior Classic at Santa Rosa Beach Golf Club.
Medicus junior golfers represented themselves quite nicely in this first event in the summer series. In the boys 16-18 year old division Medicus juniors took home the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies. Trey Aguirre, Hunter Gullickson and Brandon Jowers finished in that order.
In the girls 15-18 year old division Madison Pacheco and Antonia Poate, though they are both younger than 15, have moved up in age group to compete against the high school girls. Both girls handled themselves quite nicely as Madison finished in 3rd place (tied in score for 2nd but finished 3rd in a scorecard playoff) and Antonia finished 5th.
The boys 12-13 age division saw Medicus juniors Brock Ochsenreiter finishing 1st, Alex Lucking 2nd and Stephen Shephard 3rd.
