Bob FaganBob Fagan is a passionate golfer and features one of the most intriguing and varied golf backgrounds.  A former teaching and playing professional, Bob has also served as Executive Director/CEO for the Northern California PGA from 1991-98, as a golf company senior executive, a golf sales rep, and a consultant to the golf industry on marketing, customer service, operations, and risk management.  A passionate teacher, Bob was good enough to win at the junior, collegiate, and club professional levels.  He has been active as a golf writer while serving as Associate Editor for “Golf Today Magazine”, America’s largest regional golf monthly.  Fagan has written more than 150 articles on all aspects of the game as well as several books on both California and Hawaii golf, and is preparing works on the Golden Age of Golf Course Architecture and the most interesting golf courses in America together with two books on The Law of Attraction.  Since 1993, Fagan has also served as an “Expert Witness” assisting in golf-related litigation.  Bob is a member of the Golf Writers of America, California Golf Writer’s Association, and the Golf Travel Writers Association as well as is a Hall of Fame Member of the Golf Nuts Society where he is listed as their All-Time Point Leader as well as a member of the Shivas Irons Society.

An avid student of both Golf and The Law of Attraction, he started his golf in 1962 and his interest in personal growth just a few years later.  He has been fortunate enough to play over 2,100 golf courses, the top-rated ones in all fifty states, and is believed to be the first person ever to play all Top 200 Courses in America as defined by Golfweek Magazine.  His outstanding health and vitality, terrific family, and business accomplishments give first-hand credence to the power of The Law of Attraction.

All said, his business resume may be Bob’s most impressive aspect where for thirty years he has been active turning around challenged operations in the corporate world as well as working as an executive coach or business development and strategic planning consultant.  He has worked with such companies as Southwest Airlines, Armstrong World Industries, the PGA of America, General Fabricators, All-I-Events, Golf Pro International, UPS, The Callahan Group, Travelers, Aetna, The Secret, and a host of smaller companies where has contributed as either a consultant, Board Member, or senior executive.  An MBA with Honors from Rollins College, he has attained Six Sigma Champion and Black Belt status, and is an accredited “Management Consultant” by the Institute for Independent Business.  Most recently, Bob served as the Interim Chief Operating Officer for the San Jose State University Foundation.  His work in the non-profit sector has now led him to become active in helping others set up “Private Family Foundations” whereby people of average means can “do well by doing good”.  He resides in Pleasanton, California and can be reached at rsf4653@aol.com.
